Guide Lines for Integrity Theme Presentation

  1. The competition is open to all. There is no eligibility criterion in terms of age, profession, etc.

  2. The participants willing to participate in the competition need not have to register as delegates for the entire conference.

  3. There is no registration fee of any kind to participate in the competition.

  4. Only Individuals may register for the competition.

  5. The finalists selected after the initial screening for the final competition would be invitees for the particular session in the conference. The session referred to would be the one in which the final competition would be conducted in the morning of 13th February 2010. The participants would however have to make their own travel and stay arrangements.

  6. All the interested participants are requested to send in their presentations in ppt (power point) files on or before 18th January 2010 by email to integritycontest@gmail.com

  7. It may please be noted that only power point presentations would be treated as eligible entries. Abstracts / Concept Notes / Essays in word or text format would be disqualified and not treated as eligible entries, since it is a Theme Presentation Competition.

  8. There would be a preliminary screening of all the presentations received by 18th January 2010. The finalists would be communicated around 26th January 2010 by email and would be invited for the final competition on 13th February 2010 at InterContinental The Lalit Goa Resort, Goa.

  9. The summary / synopsis of the final presentations selected would be printed into a theme paper and circulated to all the delegates as well as the judges on the final day, 13th February 2010. The summary or the synopsis would be prepared by the organizers. The participants are requested to provide only the complete presentation.

  10. On the final day, i.e., 13th February 2010, the finalists selected would be requested to participate in a panel discussion.

  11. All the final participants would be given a maximum of 5 minutes to provide a summary of their presentation as a panel member and then it would be open to the house for questions from the judges and the delegates. The questions would be primarily based on the presentation that the participant has submitted and circulated as a part of the theme paper.

  12. There would be an esteemed panel of judges, judging the competition.

  13. The winners would be selected on 3 parameters :

    1. Presentation submitted, which has been circulated to all the delegates and the judges in the form of the theme paper;

    2. Answers to the questions in the panel discussion.

    3. arks obtained by the judges and the delegates would contribute towards deciding the final winner and the runners up.

  14. The presentations will be judged on the basis of the idea conveyed, problem identification, suggested solution, innovation, and interaction and presentation skills.
  15. No request regarding change in schedule will be entertained in any circumstance.
  16. The decision of the judges shall be final and binding.

  17. The presentations received would be the property of the organisers, Critical Mass Multilink Pvt Ltd
